I was hoping for more teaching. This program shows either a character, word, or sentence - then leaves the kids to hunt and peck for buttons. And you need the mouse to click a circle that checks your work. So type one letter, then click OK.

Typing Tots is exactly what it says it is. That’s a welcome relief from some of the other typing programs for kids that are filled with advertising, complicated routines, and irrelevant game oriented graphics, sounds, and distractions. Thanks.

Why on earth do you need to hit “enter” after typing each letter? This ap will not teach you how to type

The newer version made some effective changes in graphics and speed of response. The low key approach works well with 1st through 3rd grde kids: no pressure, just relaxed visual fun and basic typing practice with simple keyboard strokes.
